The lightweight TQHPR50 motor is just 1.85kg for the motor, it doesn’t add that much weight over a conventional bike. And the TQ system can put out a max of 300W with a peak 50Nm of torque – making you feel like you have the freshest legs ever on long climbs. As the ride is so road like with the motor cutting out at 25km/hr you really get range support on those longer rides. Average ranges of around 100km on the internal battery, or up to 140km with the optional available bottle battery range extender.

The secret of the Solace and the TQ’s system is how easy you can forget there was a motor there, light and whisper-quiet the power come through so smoothly with no jerking.

Battery Range Extender Available

  • The Solace is compatible with a 160Wh range extender, which gives you a total of 520Wh. Utilizing a SCOTT specific quick-release system, the range extender is easy to swap in for a bottle cage, tool free. ​ ​
